Wednesday 17th June

Daddy left for work at about 815, so we watched Thomas for a little while and played with 'rolly' and musical instruments. We also did some drawing and Ryan got very excited on his first picture and was saying 'circles, mark' so he drew a picture of circles specifically for Mark. He did another one too.

At about 910 we went into town very quickly to buy some plastic wallets for mummys childcare course folder, and do some photocopying so we went to the library. Mummy was clever and bought Ryan's library card with her. We looked at some books and mummy spotted one about fire engines, so Ryan took it to the lady and she thought he was very cute when he sat down on the floor with it in the quiet library and shouted 'neeeeee-nooooooors'. We went up to the photocopying floor and Ryan helped mummy with the 'moneys' for the photocopying maching, and also read his neenor book.
We went to the shop to get plastic wallets (Ryan gave the moneys to the lady) and then went back to the car. We saw that the fire engines were out so mummy parked up and we rushed round to see them.. the last one was just leaving to go for a drive but all the firemen waved at Ryan as they drove away and Ryan waved back and said bye neenor. When Ryan said 'gone now' mummy said it's gone to a fire. So since we have come home and I asked wheres the neenor Ryan says 'fire'.

Cute!

This afternoon we went to the SureStart centre for mummy to go to the childcare course (not many weeks left now) and Ryan played in the creche - apparently he enjoyed sand and diggers, fire engines and wooden trucks - no surprise there.
We left SureStart and came home via the shop where Ryan bought some chocolate stars. It was raining and Ryan said 'wet Ryan, pitter patter' until we got to mummys car. We stayed at home for a bit reading the neenor book, and then mummy went out to see some cars at Citroen down the road. Ryan came along and was pointing out the cars 'big car' for the people carrier, and then when mummy asked him where were the red car, blue car and mummys car and he pointed them out.
We came home and had an early splish splash as somebody was very tired. He stayed up for a bit watching 'doggys' (Spot) and read his neenor book with daddy before having a hug with mummy and going up to bed.
