Monday 15th June - Dummy death day 1

Today we went to a baby 'bounce and rhyme' group again, although unlike last week we went to the age 2-4 group and Ryan was a little more interactive and seemingly less bored, clingy or irritable. He enjoyed the Helicopter song, although we didn't know the dance he clapped and shouted 'yay!' at the end after the others had stopped dancing. He picked the insy winsy spider out of the bag and so that was his rhyme.. we went around the circle and everyone picked their own rhyme. At the end they blew bubbles and Ryan enjoyed watching them and trying to get them to land on his hand.

The afternoon was more rocky as mummy decided to take away the 'num' after the baby group, and spider had got it. So between about 12 and 3 Ryan intermittently said 'spider got it' or 'naughty spider, num'. In the end mummy put Ryan down to sleep at 315, and after 10 minutes of screaming 'nuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm' he drifted off. He woke up at 530, had some dinner, and then we played with his till and 'moneys' for a while. He had a late sleep and went to bed at about 8 o clock, but he did have his num as daddy thought it a little unfair to make him go cold turkey at nighttime.
