This morning we went to Morrisons to pick up some snack foods, like fruit etc. Ryan was a bit angry today in general, so the shopping experience wasn't a great one :) Otherwise at home we mostly played with juice this morning - well we didn't play with it as such, but mummy let Ryan have his juice in the beaker with no lid, ie a normal beaker. And he then decided to pour it into the small cup that's part of his play kitchen. Making a mess along the way (and saying 'sorry juice').After his sleep, mummy found Ryan stroking the dog that he has in his cot, and saying 'doggy schleeping'. He seemed to be in a slightly better mood!
In the afternoon we mostly stayed in, and watched the nursery rhymes DVD - and mummy and Ryan did the actions for the songs.. like Insy Winsy Spider and the Wheels on the Bus. There was a song on there called Old Mother Hubbard and one of the lines in the song was 'when she came back the dog was stood on his head'. (I don't remember that from the nursery rhyme but hey ho it was on the DVD). And Ryan decided he would copy the dog (also copied the dog 'dancing a jig') and then did a full forward roll. So then he kept doing them, either copying the dog or for his own amusement. I didn't think forward rolls were meant to come so early, but that's all fine if he's enjoying himself :o) I'm very proud of his development at the moment, he has a lot of words and is stringing 3,4,5 word sentances together.. is sort of starting on pull ups (only because he likes the cars on them).. and now the roll :o)
Here's a video - not the best of today's rolls, but the only one I managed to get on video!

We popped out to look at a Puma, and the salesmen weren't there again, so aft
er a quick look at the bikes and the limo's (yes limo's) we went to the next used car place which had 3 Puma's. Ryan was tired/grumpy again but was reasonably well behaved considering. He got down and was happily pointing out all of the 'dribers door's of the cars. He also picked me out a little blue Corsa by pointing at it and saying 'mummys car'.We nearly lost babbit.. I had forgotton about babbit, not even noticing whether he had him or not, until Ryan was screaming when I tried to get him in the car and he screamed 'babbbbbbit dribers door nooooooooow' and lo and behold he had dropped his babbit near to the drivers door of the mechanic's VW Golf. That was a lucky escape.
Point noted in my head in permanent marker - take bear next time. Babbit is not disposable.

Why oh why haven't you updated in years?! :D
