Today mummy decided that we should go to the SureStart open day at the Exley centre in Belgrave. She drove us there but it was busy so we parked in a church and took a stroll down to the actual centre. While we were there we spent most of our time with the animals as Ryan was quite tired. We saw a big spider, an owl 'birdy', a mouse, some snails, a snake, a giant 'babbit' and an iguana 'dye-saur'. Ryan was amazed by all the animals especially the owl, big babbit and the iguana which he thought was a dinosaur, but unlike the other children he wasn't scared of it at all. He also stroked the snake and made hissing noises. The lady said that Ryan made a fantastic dinosaur noise.
There were fruit spikes, and Ryan tried some new fruit and particularly enjoyed pineapple. He also went on the big boy's slide, which mummy did have to help with as it was very high.

We went home and hung out in the garden for a while because it was a lovely sunny day. We played with Ryan's sunglasses - mummy looked especially silly.
We then popped out to ToysRUs and mummy got Ryan a new frying pan toy in anticipation for the new kitchen Ryan was going to get the following day! Just for a few accessories to go with the new kitchen really which mummy was quite excited about getting!
We played in mummys car for a bit when we got home and Ryan was trying to spot dans car, and daddy. Every loud car that went past was 'dan, daddy, dan, daddy'... x
